Who owns my client records, me or my brokerage?
You do, on every plan. You can export them whenever you want, and no plan hands them to anyone else, your brokerage included.
Will you message my clients?
Only if you send it. On Free, messages to clients go from your own phone or email. On Pro, we write a draft and you send it.
Do vendors pay you?
Never. A vendor can't pay to get on a list, and your plan doesn't change the order a list is shown in.
Is this RESPA-safe?
Agents pay us a flat subscription, and we don't take a fee on any referral. If your broker asks, that's the whole arrangement.
If someone finds me through my list, do I owe you anything?
No. It's a sphere referral, the same as word of mouth. We don't charge referral fees or per-lead fees, and we don't take a cut.
Do you handle referral fees between agents?
We keep track of the referrals you send to and get from other agents, and remind you to follow up. There isn't even a place to enter a fee, and no money moves through Proferral. Fees are settled between your brokerages, outside the app.
Is this a referral network?
No. You won't find a directory or get matched with strangers. It's for tracking referrals with agents you already know, and you can invite them if you want.
I already have a CRM.
Keep it. Your CRM knows who the Hendersons are. It doesn't know you sent them to your roofer in March, or whether they hired him. That's the part Proferral keeps.
I already have a vendor list.
Bring it in. If it's in a spreadsheet, save it as a CSV and import the file, or paste the list in. Your clients get the same people in a link that won't get buried in their inbox, and you find out who they hired. See Importing your vendor list.
Is Proferral really free?
Yes, for good. The free plan is the whole tool: unlimited vendors, clients and referrals, check-ins, agent-to-agent tracking, and your go-to list. There's no time limit and no card. Pro is an optional $24 a month upgrade for when your list starts bringing people back, and you can cancel whenever you like. Your first 30 days include Pro at no charge. When they end, nothing you've built goes away.
Do I need an app?
You don't. It works in any browser, and iPhone and Android apps are coming. Your clients don't need anything either, because their list is a link and a contact card.
Where does it work?
Anywhere in the US. License checks against state rosters only cover Oregon and Washington for now.
